Our experienced
staff, including a qualified librarian, allow us to develop
a conversion programme that suits the library's individual
requirements. Noesis' sophisticated suite of data analysis
and conversion tools provides us with the facilities to
perform a wide range of complex tasks over and above the
standard full-bibliographic data entry, which includes:
database searching, data deduping, reporting, MARC
processing and conversion, tag and sub field manipulation,
barcode production and more.
Noesis has developed in-house software that allows the
necessary quality control to be exercised over any Library
file during a conversion, as well as providing add-on
services that ensure the file delivered to the Library will
comply with all necessary standards required and specified
by the Library. Noesis is confident that these resources
can be utilised to provide each Library with a rapid, cost
effective conversion that meets the needs of the Library.
All final quality control is carried out by Australian
Librarians who are experienced in conversion strategies and
library practices. Noesis Librarians bring their knowledge
of AUSMARC, USMARC, AACR2 and all associated cataloguing
practices to great effect prior to the delivery of the
converted file to the Library.
